Pratt & Whitney Canada, an RTX business, has signed a four-year agreement with AirBorneo Airways to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for the PW127M engines powering the carrier's ATR 72-500 regional turboprops through 2030.

The work will be performed at the company's newly expanded Singapore facility, a key hub for customer support across Asia-Pacific where recent investments have boosted turboprop MRO capabilities.

AirBorneo Airways, Sarawak's state-owned airline, operates its ATR 72-500 fleet on the Rural Air Services network, which connects remote and underserved communities across East Malaysia.
