Indian and Vietnamese government officials have agreed to significantly expand air service rights between the two countries, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) said.

The agreement follows strong airline growth on routes between the two countries this year and comes after talks between the CAAV and a delegation from India.

Detailed capacity figures under the expanded rights were not immediately published.
