Korean Air has finalized an order for 103 Boeing aircraft, a deal described by the manufacturer as a record 103-airplane order and reported to be worth about US$44.8 billion.

The order spans Boeing's 777X and 787 widebody families along with the 737-10, the largest member of the 737 MAX family, to support the carrier's fleet renewal.

The agreement also covers General Electric engines, reflecting the airline's broader support arrangements tied to the new fleet as it integrates with Asiana Airlines.
