Airbus has entered a definitive agreement to acquire Ultra Cyber Ltd, an English cybersecurity firm, from the Cobham Ultra group. The move aims to bolster Airbus's cyber-defense capabilities and expand its footprint in the UK and European cyber-security markets. The acquisition, subject to regulatory approvals, is expected to close in the second half of 2026 and will integrate Ultra Cyber's 200+ employees into Airbus Defence and Space's Connected Intelligence business unit
